Overview

Iconic no-date professional dive watch in Oystersteel.

History and context

The Submariner line began in the 1950s as a professional diving watch. Reference 124060 is the modern no-date interpretation, introduced in 2020 with updated proportions and a new-generation movement.

Design explained

Its black dial, rotating dive bezel, Mercedes-style hour hand and Oyster bracelet preserve the established Submariner identity. The absence of a date window keeps the dial especially symmetrical.

Movement and technology

Calibre 3230 is an automatic Rolex movement with a 70-hour power reserve and the brand’s Superlative Chronometer specification.

Manufacturing

Made in Switzerland in Oystersteel with a screw-down crown, solid-link bracelet and ceramic bezel insert. Rolex produces the watch within its vertically integrated manufacturing system.

Fit and wearing experience

The 41 mm case has a broad visual presence, while the bracelet and clasp distribute its weight securely. Lug-to-lug remains the more useful fit measurement for narrower wrists.
